He joined Team Chau in 2017 and is proud of the smiles he’s helped to make brighter in the years since. Chris is an active member of the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Dental Association and can often be heard as a guest speaker on ABC Hobart radio.

Dr Chris Yip
Dr Chris Yip grew up in the north western suburbs of Sydney and moved to Queensland to study dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours at the University of Queensland and was awarded numerous prizes including the Australian Dental Association Prize and the Australian Society of Endodontology Prize.
Chris is a sport enthusiast and enjoys cheering on his beloved Sydney Swans. He’s also a passionate San Antonio Spurs supporter, and despite his height challenges, he is still working on landing his first slam dunk.
